Morten Liebach with Tobias on his shoulders

This is the personal site of me, Morten Liebach. I’m the proud father of Tobias and Clara that live with my ex-wife Mette Marie just outside Århus. I hope to get to live near them soon.

I am a Unix system administrator by trade, working for 24-7 Entertainment.

I’m a trained forest worker, fireman, smokediver and lab technician, and I use none of those skills anymore. I have failed the first year of the math/physics study at Aarhus University. Twice. I guess traditional academics isn’t my cup of tea.

I drink a lot of tea, by the way.

Currently I just run, staying reasonably fit, but my real passion in sports and training is triathlon, especially ironman triathlon, the sport of kings. I love to train.

I am lucky to be connected with Endurance Corner, the brainchild of Gordon Byrn. I’ll get back to ironman training and racing again when my life settles down a little more. I hope for a full or half ironman again in 2011, but it could be postponed further.

This site is made with HTML5 and CSS3, written in TextMate and the source code is on github. The site is generated with jekyll and using fonts from Typekit, hosted on my own Linode VPS.
