Personal Information
Born in Thisted on February 7th 1971, grew up mostly in Brande, later Thy. I have two kids that live with my ex-wife just outside Århus, Tobias (3½ years) and Clara (14 months).

Even further back
Graduated with a HF exam in 1994 from Thisted Gymnasium & HF, upgraded it and studied Mathematics and Physics at Århus University from 1994—1998, with a winter of working on the harbour as a carpenter, loosing the tip of my right thumb in an accident with a saw, making me officially 5% handicapped.
Way back when I was 17 to 20 I was trained as a skilled forest worker, then conscribed into the Danish Civil Defence and was trained in first aid in disaster areas and as a firefighter and smokediver. Lots of fun.
Other Less Easily Categorized Facts
Open Source
I am active in the open source movement in Denmark. I used to be on the board of BSD-DK, the Danish BSD User Group, and was a member of the coordination group behind Linuxforum 2003–2005, but since I became a father I’ve stepped down.
Triathlon
I did a lot of Triathlon from 1992–1997, culminating in 3 Ironman distance races in 1994, 1996 and 1997 with a personal best of 10:07:17. Since 2005 I’ve been training again, but “just” marathons now.
