Ted Unangst just committed changes to OpenBSD CVS enabling propolice protection in the OpenBSD kernel. See the "support for propolice in the kernel" and "remove -fno-stack-protector (enable propolice)" log messages by tedu@ at MARC for details.
It clearly shows in the CVS commit logs that OpenBSD is having a hackathon this week. The commit frequency is 3-5 times higher than normal.
