GrepLaw has a quite good interview with Phil Zimmermann, inventor of PGP. The availability of strong cryptography for everybody is discussed, also in the light of the effects of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, and it's good to read that Zimmermann says "My original position was not changed by the attacks. It was a good decision to release PGP as freeware."
Go read the interview, it's very comprehensive in it's coverage of freedom, politics etc. with respect to crypto software.
Today my dear Mette Marie has been my girlfriend for a month — well, actually for four weeks to be more correct.
