Salam Pax is at it again in his column in The Guardian, this time about the death of Saddam's two sons, Uday and Qusay. The mighty William Gibson admits that he's a a fan of Salam Pax and Salam Pax is flattered, he's a fan of Gibson himself. Not surprising, they both share a lot stylistically and in the way they see things. It's just that Salam writes about the sad realities right now in Iraq as he sees it, both in his 'blog and in The Guardian as "The Baghdad Blogger". It's quite fascinating, and I trust Salam much more than regular media. I'm a fan of both Mrs. Pax and Gibson.
Tomorrow at 19:00 in heat #7 I'll start my first Triathlon in nearly 6 years as number 331. I haven't trained in all that time, and I'm now 15 kg (33 lbs for the imperially encumbered) heavier than back then. I look forward to it, and I'm apprehensive, all at once. It'll be grand.
