SCO publish infringing code

Aug 23, 2003

SCO has finally published a little of the Linux kernel code they claim is infinging on their copyright. Bruce Perens has written an analysis of the code. It's a GPLed clean room implementation of the BSD Packet Filter [11p. Compress'ed PS].

It's abundantly clear that SCO is doing a pump'n dump maneuver here, eg. get in the news and make the stocks go up (quite a bit actually), sell'em off and laugh all the way to the bank. It's depressing that people actually fall for it.
