That's the lifetime of an unprotected Windows XP SP1 on the internet according to “marketing-communications firm AvanteGarde” (completely non-existant in a Google search) which worked with Kevin Mitnick because he has a name. I refuse to believe it was for his technical skills.
Read the article on TechWeb among other places, it's woefully short on real detail, but I can't find the raw source anywhere, I guess it's a press-release by a brand new company with a website not yet crawled by the mighty GoogleBot.
Or a hoax.
I wish all on-line journalists would learn to actually use their medium and link to the sources, not doing so is negligent. Or they just write stuff they make up. I can't tell.
