Minus 7291 lines of code

Poul-Henning Kamp sent out a status email on his 6 month user funded FreeBSD development project trying to get as far as possible in his plan. The email contains some impressive statistics, the most impressive is that in spite of adding features he managed removing 7291 lines of code doing 577 commits to CVS – an average of 7:36 between commits – and generally being totally badass.

Thanks Poul-Henning, I feel an urge to make you an alcoholic. Perhaps I should not.
